Solar Power International campaign

I just finished shooting a series of ads for Solar Power International. Greg Barton (Dandy Idea) and Roger Puente (Zoticus Design) were already working on a portrait driven campaign when they saw my portfolio. Greg really loved the images in the portfolio with strong backlight and decided I should shoot the campaign with this lighting. I'm a huge fan of alternative energy sources, so shooting this campaign was right up my alley. Working with Greg and Roger was a lot of fun. The website just went up today: http://www.solarmeansbusiness.com/ with print and banner ads to follow.

Easter in South Austin

My friend Pokky has the best yard for an Easter egg hunt. It's old south Austin, with lots of texture and color. We took my daughter Josephine over for Easter festivities with her cousins, Cate and Molly. Pokky's daughter, Eliza is now thirteen (I photographed her for her birth announcement!) and is the perfect big 'sister.' What a day to take pictures! After shooting these I was inspired to finally start a blog. Yeah!
